Pre-Revolutionary Profiles: Russia (Agricultural or Industrial Worker)

NAME: Alexei Petrov

BIRTHDATE: April 14, 1894 (24 years old)

CLASS: Working Class

PROFESSION: Industrial worker

PROFILE PICTURE:

MY DAILY LIFE: I wake up everyday getting ready for work, I salute my roomates because here, we share an apartment with a lot of people (almost 6 people). Then, I make my breakfast and then I go to the factory, where I help in the making and treatment of metal.

POLITICAL CONTEXT: We are being controlled by the Tsars, who are Authoritarian. I don´t agree with them because they are being cruel with the lower class and they control a lot of land.

ECONOMIC CONTEXT: I think the economy ensures a growth for those who are in an upper class because they are a type of "elite". I disagree with it because it is obvious there is an equality in economic growth for people who work every single day of their lifes and those who are only rich.

SOCIAL CONTEXT: There is an obvious inequality in these social classes. People with higher class are being protected, meanwhile, we as a worker class, we are being forgotten. I disagree with the system because it affects my wealth and health. It can affect my descendants and it beneficiates the upper class.

PREDICTION: I think someone will eventually get mad and make a coupe d´etat. However, meanwhile that person rises, we are downgrading as a nation, we cannot evolve and I think people will not survive later in the future.

CHANGE OR CONTINUITY: I would really like to see how our political, social and economic aspects change with a new leader because, in my opinion, this system is a little biased to the upper class. Thinking this make me a liberal because i want people to be treated equal and have more freedoms than the ones we have now a days.

MOST PREFERRED LEADER: My favorite leader would be Lenin because his objective is to help us, the worker class and I appreciate that. I agree with his phrase "Peace, bread and land" because it is so true, we deserve that. He would change the nation for good and I thinkk that we can evolve and unite more than ever.

SECOND CHOICE LEADER: The second one would be Alexander Kerensky. I agree with him a little by stablishing a democracy but i'm afraid that he can change and stablish an Authoritarian government. Also, his new proposal for our economic system can get better with time but he can become a communism, those are my fears. Aside from that, I think he is a better second option than Czar Nicholas II, he can change us in a good way but I trust more on Lenin.

LEAST PREFERRED LEADER: My least favorite would be Czar Nicholas II. He is being and Elitist and his economic system is failing because us, as a worker class, can take advantage of a lot of lands or other properties that are being sold to the upper class. Also, I think he will stablish a monarchy from what i have seen, so that is a bad sign for us in the future.

PUBLICLY SHOW YOUR PREFERENCES:

REVOLUTIONARY IMAGE:

WE NEED A REVOLUTION BECAUSE It is important for us, lower class, to have the same rights as the upper class. We need a leader that can support us and not one that opppressed us. We have to unit in this fight so we can become a better nation, a better version of us. ¡We support Lenin!
